both a planetary and individual level.<\/p><p><strong>Choosing oneself is the 1st step back to oneself<\/strong>&#8230; because as long as we choose based on the fear of being judged or to please others, we are prisoners. In my youth, I learned to always put the well-being of others before my own, until a moment in my adult life when everything fell apart around me.<\/p><p>At that very moment, <strong>I went to visit my inner self and began to realize that if I didn&#8217;t choose myself<\/strong>, I&#8217;d shut down completely.<\/p><p>A few decades later and here I am sharing my awarenesses on this notion of choosing oneself, with a few crucial points to consider.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3195ab5 attention, more money, more prestige, more recognition etc.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>Does choosing oneself mean demanding that others take care of us?<br \/><\/strong>Like, for example, demanding that our loved ones look after us when we&#8217;re ill&#8230; or that our employees\/colleagues perform for our personal gain.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>Does choosing oneself mean that all our desires are always fulfilled?<\/strong><br \/>Like, for example, needing X amount of money to feel secure or prosperous, taking what we want at the expense of others.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: left;\">You see, in the years I&#8217;ve been talking about &#8220;choosing oneself&#8221;, I&#8217;ve heard and seen just about everything there is to say about are taking a different position and sharing the notion of choosing oneself.<\/p><p>We can see that for some, choosing oneself means saying NO to many requests, while for others, choosing oneself means saying YES to all the ego&#8217;s desires and personal preferences.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-12722cd elementor-widget
