When Compassion is free from all forms of judgment—such as pity, arrogance, or feelings of superiority—it becomes a quiet power, aligned with the heart. In the West, Compassion is often mistaken for a gesture of kindness tinged with pity. It is therefore not surprising that it is often poorly received or even rejected.
